You have to take note of the following in order to participate in the Easter Event:
You must have defeated E4 in Kanto and Johto.
This is followed by a pre-quest. This begins in Viridian Forest. (Kanto)
There you will find the NPC Bugcatcher Bunny.
Pre Quest
Here is the quest order:
- Find and battle 10 Pokemon in the Viridian Forest
- Travel to Route 22 for an item
- Find the Hiker in Mount Moon and defeat 5 Pokémon
- Check Route 3 for the reward
- find the Trainer Blackbelt on Route 4
- defeat 7 Pokémon on Route 4
- Find on Route 9 the Reward
- Find the Worker in the Power Plant and defeat 5 Pokémon
- Check the reward on Celadon
- Find the Ace Trainer on Victory Road and defeat 8 Pokémon
- Check the reward from Route 23
- Find Picnicker on Route 8 and defeat 5 Pokémon
- Check the reward on the Pokémon Tower
- Find the Swimmer on Route 20 and defeat 3 Pokémon
- Check the reward on Cinnabar Island
- Find the Biker on Route 17 and defeat 1 Pokémon
- Return to Pallet Town and collect your reward
Once you have completed the pre-quest, go to Azalea Town (Johto) to find Lucy. She will be waiting for you at the event entrance, to guide you through the event.
